Probate is a legal process that occurs when someone dies and they either didn't complete Estate documents or own more then $188,250.  

What Happens In Probate?

If your estate goes into probate a judge will oversee the process through which assets and property, of your estate, are transferred from one generation to the next when there is no trust. It is advisable to try and avoid probate whenever possible.

Why Should I Avoid Probate?

Probate very expensive and time consuming and can take years to get property to your errors. More importantly a judge may end up deciding "who gets what" from your estate instead of you.

How Do I Avoid  Probate?

You can avoid  probate by having a signed and notarized trust and will.

Does Everyone Need a Trust?

No, but you own real property or assets wroth more then 166,250 you must have a trust or your estate will automatically go to probate
